3 of the 4 would be considered "close games" entering this weekend...and the only one that wouldn't would still pit the two best big schools against each other. In addition look at some of the Semi Final and Regional Final pairings.

Even better...since the 2004 alignment more or less was disbanded do to "Publics vs. Privates"... there would only be two private schools playing IMHO, and that would be X vs. T.


Bring this alignment back!

The only Privates playing this weekend are Cov. Holy Cross and Trinity... I think the whole "Public vs. Private" debate has been blown out of proportion...unless your team is in 6A.... then it is very relevant.

What I also liked in the 4 Class system is that with 6-7 team districts it mean for some great district matchups and also thought the playoffs it was good matchups.
