How have the games turned out?

Ashland lost by 3,,,awesome team play by Ashland, they looked great and were very unselfish with the ball.
#5
Heard Noble didn't play a lot...is her knee not 100% yet?

What about Sheldon Clark, Shelby Valley and Paintsville?

Good job to both teams it was a battle the whole game. PCC played well Smith played better than I remember her playing, Rankin is a beast for real, Noble played most of the 1st half and the I believe reinjuried her, hope she is OK. PCC played zone full court and half court the whole game. Their starters are very good but believe depth could be an issue. Ashland also played well team ball Playing 9 players in and out of the game with a good rotation, playing man most of the game. Did struggle shooting for the outside but that will improve as they adjust to game speed. Both teams pressure defense did cause each other into some turnovers but alot had to do with pace of the game. Great preseason match up good luck to both teams.

I heard that Noble also only played about a half in their first scrimmage last week. Hopefully her coach is just playing it safe with her in the preseason and that her sitting in the second half isn't due to a new injury. She is one talented player.

Paintsville laid it Russell. Not sure on the other games.

“Relax, all right? Don’t try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they’re fascist. Throw some ground balls – it’s more democratic.”

Both are very talented teams and could meet again at state tournament think both could be in top 10 in the state. Ashalnd will have to find an answer for Rankin she is a handfull.

Couldn't agree more blessed. I can't imagine any team being able to guard Rankin one-on-one. The problem is the rest of the starting 5 is so good you can't leave anyone to double her. I'm sure some teams will try to junk it up defensively when playing PCC. Rankin and PCC are going to have a monster year, especially if Noble comes back 100% from her knee injury.

maybe a Zone with chaser on Smith. I'll take my chance with Crawford, Noble, and company from pereimeter lower perecentage than Rankin from 3 feet
