Franklin is a) undefeated, b) at home, and c) proficient at putting points on the board. To top it off, this Conner team is known to be a bit spotty on the road. I think Franklin County takes this handily.

True, but they didn't exactly get the cream of the NKY crop when they set it up. If things stay the way they are, I expect Conner and Cooper to eventually man up and become regular playoff contributors. 5A is pretty wide open.

Franklin County is really playing a lot harder the last few weeks, they are playing like a team that really wants it and are having a lot of fun doing it. The team is getting along very well not letting emotions get to them. The big question is: What will Conner do to stop them???

Franklin county wins huge. I had no idea how weak this Conner district is, and how strong our district turned out to be. It is a shame Woodford county could not be here, look at their non-district game outcomes.

It is no doubt that Franklin County's offence will score, the big question this year has been Franklin County's defence, but in the last few games they have started to look better and better....

The Flyers are very talented. If Connor is to win this game they have to do the following to have a chance.
1. Limit the running game. If Franklin County is able to run the football with all of those running backs it will be a very long night.
2. Make the Flyer QB throw on the move. The QB is very talented. He is a dual threat. But watching him against Montgomery and Frankfort he doesn't throw the ball well if he has to move his feet. (not that many QB's do)
3. Let Timmons get his. - Don't make the fatal mistake of Anderson Co and trying to shut Timmons down. Worry about defending the others. You can't shut this kid down. Bracket him with coverage. But the minute you start trying to defend him instead of defending Franklin County you will get beat bad. They have to many weapons.

I will take Franklin County, but let's see who Bubba picks next week when Anderson possibly travels to Franklin County....Because as Bubba said, only Franklin County can beat Franklin County.....

Bubba22 is the most uninformed, biased person on here. The stats dont lie. FC is truly balanced. If the Packers were coming to town he would pick Anderson. All of this is moot because both have loseable games on friday and need to win the one in front of them.

I agree O line Franklin County is well balanced, if you try to put a pass defence on them, they run, if you try a rushing defence, they pass. With Franklin County's speed, the mud will only slow them down to what an above average team's speed is. Mud, heat, or cold is not a problem for the Franklin County team.
