We all know Michael Jordan loves to compete and loves to trash talk. M.J. is notorious for being one of the greatest smack talkers of all time. Heâll even deliver his smack directly, like when he called out LeBron. The LeBron trash talk is understandable because the Heat forward is a fellow NBA MVP. Jordanâs latest friendly attack on Bill Clinton proves that heâs not afraid to trash talk a former U.S. President.
According to the Wall Street Journal via CBSSports.comâs Eye on Basketball blog, M.J. called out Clinton during a recent round of golf and challenged him to play from the championship tees instead of the whites. He also told the former Commander in Chief that he wanted to see him break 100 and reportedly got in his ear for a solid 18 holes. For the record, Clinton came in under 100.
I guess we now know the types of activities that have been keeping His Airness busy while he blows off his friendâs wedding. There is no word on whether or not any money was wagered during the round, but with Jordan involved how could there not be? Iâd be willing to bet (yes Iâm a hypocrite) that the last time Jordan participated in a competition that didnât involve money he was wearing a Bulls jersey.
