Who would have thought that 6-weeks into the season West Jessamine and Sheldon Clark would be winless?

If you told me that 7 weeks ago I would have laughed at you.
#6
That many winless teams in 3A? WOW!!!

He wasnt Saying That Rockcastle Would Lose He was Pointing Out That Both Rockcastle and Russel County Are 6-0

I think he means that there's two games where undefeated's face each other.
#12
Sheldon Clark, E Town, Nelson County, Hoptown and West Jess....all suprising. All have proud history and it comes as shocking that they can't get both oars in the water at the same time. Best of luck to them all. A defeated season is absolutely the pits. You gotta feel for the kids.

How many of these teams will be undefeated going into the state tournament

Coachdad Wrote:Dude I was about to say the same thing,

No they don't...Time is not their problem...Lack of talent is...They came to Belfry Friday night and were one of the two or three worst teams to ever play at CAM Stadium since it opened in 2005...Belfry is really good and could have laid 100 on them easy!!! I hope they can turn it around, but if they do not they could miss the playoffs...SC and East Ridge will be for the number 4 spot in the district and I would give the advantage right now to the Cards, but who knows!!

No more than 12?
#17
Wow! Check out 5 A. Looks like a tough class. 4 of them will beat each other up in a few weeks. I like HCHS's chances of advancing to the finals this year. IMO They are the best 5A team on this side of the bracket.

Of the teams listed, there are some Head-to-Head match-ups that will ensure that a few of these teams will not be undefeated by the time the playoffs start:

No match-ups for 1A, 2A, 3A

4A - Rockcastle Co vs. Russell Co
5A - Warren Central vs. Bowling Green
5A - Christian Co vs. Ohio Co
6A - Trinity vs. Manual

is there any team left on thier schedule that can challenge them ?

Coachdad Wrote:is there any team left on thier schedule that can challenge them ?

Not likely until the playoffs. Deeper rounds will not be easy sledding with late rounds having the likes of Louisville HC, Beechwood and then if they are still winning they will likely face a quality opponet from the east bracket. This is a good football team but they are not unstoppable like last years squad.

better watch out mayfield, hazard claims they are winning state this year! lol

ole_blue_sack_15 Wrote:better watch out mayfield, hazard claims they are winning state this year! lol

Like I said, if they are still winning they will have to face a quality opponet from the east bracket where Hazard is. I'm not nearly as worried about anyone from the east right now as I still have to worry about the west where Bw maybe the favorite before even thinking about east bracket teams
#28
That's what I said, especially in 3A!
#29
Breathitt will remain undefeated the rest of the year. They have no one else on there schedule that can compete with them. Magoffin, KCC, Morgan and Clay Co.
#30
I think i'll go ahead and guarantee two 15-0 teams: Mayfield and Trinity. They will both dominate their class.
