Congrats Lady Tigers, Now get healthy and get ready for "Torture" week, next week!!!
Can't belive you will be playing Pike Central on Mon., Magoffin Co. on Wed. and Johnson Central on Fri.!! Probably the tuffest week in the region!
Hope Laura Carroll will be fine, J.Russell could be back for Mag. but not likely, should be back for JC though!

PHS was poised for a let down and was able to survive.

PHS- 14-17-13-17 61
SCHS-10-11-16-16 53

Turnovers:
PHS- 21
SCHS-16

With Russell out with an ankle sprain, SCHS went to a 2-2-1 press and our girls acted as if they had never seen it before. They definately saw it at the All A State, and I might add, a whole lot better traps at state.

PHS didn't pass the ball very well last night. Monday they had 21 assists, last night only 8. PHS had a lot of one-on-one going on.

PHS was 24-53 FG for 45%, so the shooting wasn't bad.

Stats:
L.Carroll 9 pts, 3-5 FG, 5 reb, 4 steals, 3 assists
K.Carroll 23 pts, 9-13 FG, 4 reb, 3 assists
Jarrell 8 pts, 4-6 FG (2-2 on offensive reb), 17 reb, 2 steals
Adams 8 pts, 4-14 FG (She's usually a much better shooter), 8 reb

Katie Adams shot open shots all night long. She did not force anything or take contested shots. They just weren't falling for her. She even passed up a few open shots. Keep shooting Katie.

Jarrell with only 6 shots, and 2 came from offensive boards???
I don't care how many were guarding her, she has got to get more looks.
I wasn't there but, geez, that stat stands out to me.

There were 3 other times they got it to her, she fouled once and passed the other 2 times.
