Boyd County@ ShelbyValley

I'll take Boyd county by 2 touchdowns, but would'nt rule out the possibility of the Wildcats taking this one at home. Any thoughts?

Hard to say. I know Shelby Valley lost a lot in terms of both talent and numbers this year, so it may be a bit of a struggle in the new coach's first year.

That said, Boyd Co. went 1-9 last year with their only victory being a 3-0 win over another 1-9 team in East Carter. They were also blown out by both Lawrence Co. and Pike Central, as was Shelby Valley. So without knowing much about Boyd Co., one would guess that this might be a tossup.

Given that it is at SV, I am tempted to go with Valley in this one, let's say by 6. But I'm not feeling all that good about the pick either.

Watched the Boyd and Belfry the other night and Boyd is better than what they was last year. Boyd needs to find some wideouts alot of drop passes and a few that just went threw the hands. Dont know alot about SV but the way everybody is posting this should be a good game. I do think Boyd could win 3-4 games this year.

Boyd County did not look terrible against Belfry, and a lot more organized.

IMO Boyd is 21 points better

Good luck both teams

I'll take the Wildcats in this one.

I hate this prediction, but Boyd Co. 42 and SV 13. I still would like to see the wildcats pull it out.
