Several area coaches agree that this is clearly the best season ever for high school quarterbacks in the area.
It's hard to argue that point considering that two quarterbacks have already committed to major Division I schools (Highlands' Patrick Towles to the University of Kentucky and Dixie's Zeke Pike to defending national champion Auburn) and several underclassmen are already being recruited by Division I schools (CovCath junior Blake Bir, Ryle junior Nathan Davis and Conner sophomore Drew Barker).
