I've heard it may be as late as july till they hire. Man, that's a little too late for an already struggling program. Betsy lane has the schedule to compete with teams like Allen central, Powell co., Magoffin co., and Jenkins. Didn't say beat, but should be able to compete with.I still say with the right coach and right system and getting this coach started now, they can win a few games. I was really impressed with their tailback last season and the kids up their aren't afraid to fight . No. they have not been very good but neither was Morgan co. for the past 20 years and now their in the playoffs every year.Betsy lane can't wait around for a big name coach or top assistant coach from a big name program cause it aint gonna happen. Get you a coach, that mabey has limited expirience at a big name program( good program for mabey a year ot 2) young, enthusiastic, and has discipline. Get a Fire plug coach, someone who will at least make the kids believe in themselves. Stop waiting around for a big name coach from a big name program and find yourself a young , enthusiastic, coach who may not have the most expirience, but he'll work hard and put the time in and have discipline among the team . I'm telling you , you won't be any worse and all you can do is get better even if it's by having a better work ethic and discipline, that alone will make you better.Get a coach now, don't wait around till summer, don't hire a 65 year old man again, or it's 0-10 all over again. Get a coach and get started! I've said it before, Joe Colwell would be a perfect fit for Betsy lane and he would make your football program better.

i think bl will be better this season and there offensive line is monsters this season they got 2 huge boys and 3 more players who are big and all bench over 300 pounds their running back Brandon Blair or as we call him BB is fast and is planning on getting a lil bit bigger Brennan Case has a great arm and will be able to show it off this year with this new line

Tell you what Showstopper, I Think Im gonna look into this job myself, you got alot of talent coming back and this could be the most talented team ever at Betsy Lane.
I coached against you last season and I liked the intensity I saw from you guys even though we beat you. I'm going to call your principal tomorrow and check on this situation cause where I coached at, we have no idea what's going on . I could take that big line and we'd reek havok!

well bl had three people running the ball Ed Case Bill Collins a fullback it probaly wasnt him and BB im thinking your talking about Ed he was a senior so he wont be back

I say BL will have a good tem this year. They have alot of new people coming out and they seem pretty good.

dunnno but hope they get someone or they are gonna be screwed...ha i think they are just gonna give up.Also will they be able to respect a new coach if they get one
