Rays first baseman had the best reaction.... "Hats off!!!"

Love or Hate -Yankees- Hats off to Jeter!!!!

The fan who caught Jeter's 3,000th hit got quite the hookup! Not only did he get to meet Jeter but, the Yankees gave him an assortment of Jerseys as well as 4 Champion Suite tickets to every game for the rest of the season and playoffs if they make it.

^However reports are guessing that the ball is worth $250,000! Not such a good trade.

Its not that bad IMO! The Yankees have 75 games left this season and I have seen that the guy was awarded Legend Suite tickets in some articles and Champion Suite tickets in others. Anyways, Legend Suite tickets are worth $550 per ticket and Champion Suite tickets are worth $250 per ticket.
So if you do the math, the guy will be getting either $165,000 or $75,000 worth of regular season tickets. If you include that plus any playoff games, three signed bats, three signed balls, and two signed jerseys. He is getting pretty close to $250,000 worth of merchandise.

I would sell most of the tickets and the signed bats and jerseys will bring in money later on....

Not all 75 games are at home.

A go-ahead homerun is the second best way to get this one.
The only better way would be a walkoff lol
As for the fan who caught it....
I would have held on to it and waited to see what Ebay had in store for me Wink
