There's a lot of talk around the NBA right now...
Here's some things that I've been seeing could happen on Thursday's draft day. And My opinion on them..
*Monta Ellis traded from the Warriors --- Bad Ideal
*Andre Iguodala traded from the 76ers ---- Good Ideal, if you get a big
*Suns trade Steve Nash to move up to No. 2 pick.... maybe for Ricky Rubio ---- Good Ideal, Williams and Rubio for Nash
*Knicks move up to take Jimmer ---- Bad Ideal
*Kyle Singler goes in first round ---- Bad Ideal
*Pau Gasol traded from the Lakers ---- Stupid
*Ben Hansbrough drafted by Pacers to play with his brother --- Don't care
* Dallas Mavs draft PG - Isaiah Thomas --- Good Ideal, will be good back up for JJ next year, if Kidd is done or gone.
*Kemba Walker before Brandon Knight --- I Don't Know, both will be OK NBA players..
* And the biggest thing of them all.... Who will make a big push for Dwight Howard.... I see the Blazers being the front-runners...

Why would the Blazers want Howard unless they plan on including Oden in the deal? Even doing that is stupid for them. They trade their best big to get a better one, but only to lose him after this season. Doesn't make sense to me. I heard Kidd says he wants to play for at least 3 more years. Which shocked me because he's 38. That would make him 41 when he retires.

the Warriors GM has said that Monta Ellis isn't getting traded, at least not any time soon.
I read on bleacherreport today that the Hawks seem to be looking to trade Josh Smith

why would anyone want Oden? He's injury prone and has been since he left Ohio State. I don't think he's even seen/played half a season yet since he's been in the NBA
I'm really hoping the Bulls can land Singler and/or Mack.

That's what I'm saying. I don't know how Portland could get Howard or why they would want him. He won't want to resign with them. They'll be trading someone who will stick around for someone who will only be around for a year. Unless they offer Aldridge and someone else, I don't see Portland getting him.

Brandon Roy, Aldridge, and Matthews..... Thats 3 good/young reasons to go and stay in Portland...
All everyone wants to talk about is Lakers, Heat, and Knicks when he comes to Howard but what about the teams that are just about there.. and have a lot more money then the big name teams...

Just seen that too....
Been a lot of talk about Ellis... But I don't know why they would trade their best player...

Agreed. Orlando is not going to GIVE the best center in the NBA away.
On another note, I can't wait to see how Rubio fairs this year.

I also like Portland's chances with Dwight Howard - I said it earlier this year that they would have room for the big guy, and they could feed him well.
They keep Aldrige and Roy - gee watch out.
They also have Rudy Fernandez who is pretty good also.

If they keep Aldridge, Roy, and Fernandez who are they are going to trade that the Magic would actually want? Nobody. If Portland wants Howard IMO they have to trade Aldridge, add Roy, and probably another player or draft pick as well.

Aldridge and Roy may be a little too much, IMO. Roy is an all star and Aldridge will be too. Aldridge, Fernandez, and a draft pick could nab him.

Roy has no knee's left. His doctors are only giving him a couple more years to play. He don't have anymore All Star seasons in him. Might as well trade him while he still holds some value.

What does everyone think about this....
Cleveland Cavs and Memphis Grizzlies Talk:
Grizzlies GET: No. 4 overall pick, $13.6 M Trade Exception
Cavs GET: Rudy Gay...

New - NEWS
****Cleveland Receives: No. 6 pick, No. 18 pick
Washington Receives: No. 4 pick
The Cleveland Cavaliers are known to be shopping the fourth overall pick in an attempt to fill multiple needs on the roster, and it appears that they may have found a willing taker.
ProBasketballDraft.com reports that this is a very real scenario being discussed between both clubs, as the Wizards' interest in Kanter is very real.

I'd LOVE for Enes and Wall to play together. They'd have to trade Blatche or McGee, but they'd get somebody productive in return.

It seems to be the question on the draft is going to be "Who gets the No. 2 overall pick?"
There's a lot of teams out there trying to trade up to No. 2..... Maybe this is because all these coaches and owners are smarter then the Cavs... They know Williams is the best pro in the draft...

Williams is going to be great or bust. I think great. He's can play the 3 or 4, but he needs to establish himself at one or the other. But IMO Enes winds up being the best in this draft.

Yeah I hope Enes does great, but It's hard to say Enes or Irving because we just haven't seen them... Enes played overseas that's a different world, Irving played in 8 games in college...

Yeah, I know what you're saying. From what I've seen Enes has great skill for a big man. Creative finisher. He has a great mid range shot. His only weakness his that he's not very athletic. But Dirk is not athletic either.
Irving played great at Duke, no doubt. But IMO he's lack of athleticism don't allow him to succeed in the NBA.
