Graduation Songs

Me and one of my friends from school are talking about graduation, what we think would be good songs and stuff. I have a couple that I think would be good but I'm wondering what you all think as well. For those who are already out of high school as over half of the site probably is what was you graduation song? For the seniors on here what is your graduation son going to be or what would you want it to be? I'm interested to read what everyone else thinks. I'll post my list later.

In all reality--graduation songs are completely pointless to begin with. It turns out to be words on a piece of paper. That is it.

I was never in favor of slow, sad songs.

I couldn't ever see the point. More like--the man "trying to hold you down" and be sad about the end of high school.

Give me a break--thats why we picked the nastiest, loudest, silliest song that we could find . . . .

Some people like having graduation songs because thats one song that they'll always remember and think about their high school days, but others dont. It's just whatever you want to do it. I don't necessarily think that they're pointless, but it's nothing big.

I don't know if the class last year had a graduation song. Personally I like them...that is if you pick a good one. It's not pointless because it's basically the last guaranteed time that you will see everyone you graduate with or even your friends because you never know they could end up living in the dorm beside you/with you or across the country or even in the grave. It's nice to have a song that brings back the final memories of high school. I just hope my graduation isn't like the one last year.
