I was wondering if anyone had any good websites that covered high school football history in Kentucky. I've coached for one year now after growing up in Indiana and know the history of that state and its football well. But I plan to be here and want to learn the history of teams here. I've found a couple of decent sites, but nothing is comprehensive. For example, this website outlines the history of every high school team in Indiana. Quite a bit of stuff. I was just wondering if there were any similar sites for Kentucky, even if they weren't so comprehensive. The ones I've found apply more to teams from western Kentucky so some info from the east would be good. Thanks for your input.

The only things I have come across so far are...

mostly western KY schools (if you click on 7 or 8)

Jefferson County football

Good sites, just not all the schools in the state.

If anyone has any individual school sites that would be good too.

This one deals with Mayfield football, but it has a lot of historical info also because of the old schedules and such.

Contact Mark Maynard at the Daily Independent in Ashland, Ky. He is a treasure trove of history for EKy sports. Great article in today's [5/19] paper about a 1957 football match up between Catlettsburg/Ashland.

Hello, I'm new to the site. I wanted to start a thread asking who would be at the Bluegrass football classic but I'm too new to start a thread. Hope to see a lot of you there. Anyway, Sorry I don't ahve any KY sites but I'll be watching for what appears. This is a great game. I'm coming up from South Carolina to the classic. I wish we had something like this in SC.
