Very rough first 2 innings for the Jackets. We are very glad that Chris Short was not seriously injuried. Very scarey moument....hit with a line drive in the throat while pitching. Checked out of the hospital late in the evening in fair health. Will be very sore for a few days.

Jackets give up 9 in the first and 2 in the second 11-0 after 2. Several errors but Knox hit the ball well. Congrats to Knox, we got out played. Like another shot at them in region after a split during season.

Saturday.. BIG.. BIG game, glad we saved some pitching for that one.

Middlesboro has not missed a district game. They will be leaving Sat. morning. Game on as far as we know. P'burg coaches at Middlesboro last night to watch the game. They said game on.
