Who are some of the catchers in the 15th region this year. I feel from what I have seen and those that I know are coming back that Timmy Hayes from Lawrence Co. could be the best out there this year. I know that Johnson Central has Sturgill back this year. Not bad but not in the Hayes category. There are still a few 15th region teams that I dont know all that much about yet. Who else is out there this year?

Brock Kidd from AC.

Brock Kidd from AC is one of the best catchers in the region if not the best.

Brock Kidd definately has a good shot to second.

Personally, i've never seen Brock Kidd throw many people out. He is getting over-hyped. I've seen him sail more throws into center field than he has put on the money to 2nd. Very overrated.

Brock Kidd from AC is one of if not the best catcher in the 15th...

ER has a young catcher by the name of Caleb Epling. He had a pick off at first in his only start last year.

The boy from LC and then Strugill will be the top 2 in the region this year.

Look for Sturgill to have a pretty good year.. He has been lifting and working hard in the off-season. His arm has gotten stronger. Cant wait to watch the Golden Eagles come baseball season.

Brock Kidd

"XxXxRebelxXxX" Wrote:josh maynard is sheldon clarksHe can hit. But dont expect too many great things this year. He hasnt started yet because Jamie Jarret was amazing. Trust me though, by the time he is a senior he will be one of the best in the region.

He is a good hiter and kills the ball at times. But he has a weak arm and slow feet. Catcher wise he isn't very good, but hitter wise he is.

He may not have had the best arm in the past couple years... But he has worked hard in the off-season! i'm looking for him to come out ready and be the top catcher in the region!

He is a great kid and loves the game. I wouldn't doubt it for a second that he work his tail off in the offseason and has his arm up to what it is capable of. I hope he has, he has the potential to play college level because the kid can hit. But to play college he needs to get the actual cathing part up a little. I hope he will be like you say. Like I said he is a great kid.

What happened to Matt Sexton of Pikeville? Is he not playing this year? I think he may be the best catcher in the region.

Brock Kidd should be one of the top catchers in the region, it seems his arm has gotten stronger from last year.

Allen craynon will be catching for pburg when Brenton Hamilton is pitching.
