Perry County Central 78 - Leslie County 58 (14th Region Championship)

Congratulations Lady Dores a job well done!

Shock of the century right there.

Congrats Lady Dores and good luck in Bowling Green!

Good game. Both teams deserved to be there. On a side note, those two sisters from Jenkins who sang the National Anthem were AMAZING. It gave me chill bumps. Probably the best I've ever heard around here. If somebody don't hurry up and sign those girls a record deal they are missing out on a big opportunity.

“Relax, all right? Don’t try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they’re fascist. Throw some ground balls – it’s more democratic.”

47 An amazing performance by Hillary Moore.

She did better than that, she had 47 according to the line score! Thats insane!!:yikes: With that kind of scoring she very well could have beat alot of teams by herself!

Leslie Co. 11 15 17 15 58

Perry Co. Central 17 20 23 18 78

14th Region at Jenkins

LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON

From the looks of that line score, the Eagles will sorely miss Moore next season. Rankin + Noble next year will be unstoppable for PCC.

If anyone looked at her she was at the free throw line, she got 47 points off of 10 or 11 field goals, the rest were free throws, like her points have been all year long.
And speaking of referees, does anyone know what a CONFLICT OF INTEREST is?????? HOW IN THE WORLD CAN TACKETT WILSON BE CALLING THIS GAME? His dad was the super intendent of Leslie County highschool and held every other seat possible in the city of Hyden, I guess no one really has any integrity any more and will admit when they shouldn't be on the game. :please:
And for the other female ref, I believe she played basketball with the 2 assistant coaches for Perry Central while they were at Alice Lloyd College, I guess they figured they should try to even it out a little bit, but both of these young people should of definitely not been reffing this game, no matter how well they did, there always is a questionable call that people could say well they went to school with whoever. Just not good for the game! :devilflam
