ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Meredith Mitchell scored 16 points and Georgia rolled past No. 19 Kentucky 69-51 on Thursday night to remain in second place in the Southeastern Conference.

Georgia (20-6, 10-3) kept its lead in double figures over cold-shooting Kentucky through the second half. The Wildcats came no closer than 13 points after the break.

Porsha Phillips had 14 points and 16 rebounds and Jasmine James also had 14 points as each Georgia starter scored in double figures. Jasmine Hassell had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Khaalidah Miller had 10 points.

Kentucky (19-7, 8-5) has lost three of four.

Kentucky senior Victoria Dunlap, the SEC's leading scorer, had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Bernisha Pinkett scored 12 points.

Kentucky averages 72.6 points per game, third in the SEC, but finished below that mark for the fifth straight game. The Wildcats shot a season-low 28.1 percent, making 18 of 64 shots from the field.

Kentucky's A'dia Mathies had to leave the game for about 5 minutes in the second half after she was hit on her jaw by Ronika Ransford's shoulder midway through the second half. Mathies remained face-down on the court for a couple minutes and Kentucky coach Matthew Mitchell sent in a substitute, Crystal Riley, to shoot the free throws.

The Lady Bulldogs beat Kentucky for the second time this season, including a 61-59 win in Lexington on Jan. 9.

Georgia, which fell out of the Top 25 after splitting two games last week, has won four of five.
