Alex Abner of Pulaski County will be continuing his football career with the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders, he signed with Lindsey Wilson yesterday! This season alone, Alex amassed 1,042 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns, averaging 7.1 yards per carry. Alex also was the Maroons leading receiver, notching 46 catches for 864 yards and 14 touchdowns, giving him 34 scores for the year. Alex leaves Pulaski County High School with 8 offensive school records to his name. He caught 11 passes in one game this year against Henry Clay which is an all time record for the Maroons, and he also tied for the record for the most TD catches in one game (3), and is the holder for the most TD’s in a season (14), most receptions in a career (108), most receiving yards in a career (1,719), most TD catches for a career (24), most TD’s scored in a single season (33), and most touchdowns scored in a career (70). Also, on the defensive side of the ball, Alex recorded 60 tackles this season, with eight of those going for a loss.
