This was a very physical game with surprise, surprise refs that were inconsistent at best. Magoffin County came out and really took it to a slow starting Johnson Central team in the 1st quarter. Johnson Central outscored Magoffin County in every quarter following the 1st.

If Johnson Central is allowed to play a physical game then the chances for the other schools are limited.

It was physical both ways. In the first quarter Magoffin was much more physical then JCHS. The Pitts kid from Magoffin had 18 for the game and took it at Shane Hall and Tanner Bratton down low.

JC looked good when they pushed the ball. Why is Mckenzie trying to slow the game down, JC holding the ball with a 8 point lead and 5 or 6 minutes to go in the game? Something you might do against a stronger team if you are afraid of losing your lead. JC has the horses let them play! Still not scoring enough points, need better ball movement to produce open shots. The Hornets didn't have any trouble getting open looks because they pass the ball. Good win!!

Love the pitts kid , he is only going to get better if he keeps working hard.

Pitts is very good down low. If anyone gets the ball that low they are tough to guard. Guards have to put more pressure on the pass. Magoffin did a good job of moving the ball and getting a good angle for the entry pass. Shane Hall did finish with 17 rebounds and 12 blocks, he also played well.

Tate Salyer has really stepped his game up the last couple of weeks. Player of the game for about the 3rd time during this stretch. Missed Gallaghers defense last night. Winning in the district is tough on what district that you are in.
