Leading scorers make news however who gets the tough job of being the defensive stopper? I have watched high school basketball for a few years and sometimes this does not always get nearly the recognition it deserves. Coaches know of course but even then how many times is it brought up to anyone? I think I will mention it to my old old coach next time I see him.

I vote for #11 at Paintsville High School, Dustin Caldwell. he can get the job done. I'm not at all biased, hehehe.

#10 Chris Altizer at Belfry. He averages 3.5 ppg and starts guard because he is a defensive specialist.

Chris Altizer is a great defensive player, one of the best if not the best. He hustles, stays focused, and I think does a pretty awesome job on offense. He is an all around team player with an exemplary attitude.

Dylan Maldenado from BL is best defensive guard I've seen.
As for big guys have to go Shane Hall from JCHS.
These two are definite game changers.

I'll agree with ya Lisa. Dustin Caldwell and Timmy Sublett are always on some of the better players nite in and nite out. David Slone has stepped up D also.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Someone plays D in the 15th?? LOL , All I have seen is 2-3 or 3-2 zone until someone is so far behind they have to man up. Thats why Pikeville is rockin right now, they have some zone busting 3pt shooters.

What defensive criteria is everyone using to determine their 'all-defensive' teams?

#5 Anthony Evans guarded Martin for Pikeville.
He doesn't average a lot of points but he is one **** of a defender.
He has quick hand and feet and can also jump out of the gym.
All this helps him out also lol
