BJ Howard from Magoffin County on pace to break the Stolen Base Record

Brandi Howard (B.J.) center fielder and leadoff batter for Magoffin County is only 9 stolen bases away from breaking the State Record with 3 games left. BJ has 72 going into tonights game with Morgan County, the Record stands at 80. Good luck BJ!:Thumbs:

Setting a state record in anything is a testament to an individuals hard work and perseverance. And it is also good to see East Ky girls chipping away at these records. Obviously this young lady takes her sport seriously and works hard to help her team be competitive. Thank You Ms. BJ Howard for setting a new bar of achievement for future Hornets, as well as everyone else in the STATE, to overcome. Your work ethic will carry you far in life. Congratulations.

Thanks for those encouraging words for BJ dawgbyte02. She hasn't got it yet but if the games don't get rained out or cancelled she has a good shot at it. I didn't know this till just a few moments ago as I was searching through the stats, last night at Wolfe County she stoled 7 bases and that (according to the khsaa stats) tied the single game record.
