Thats a great question. I dont think they are forcing him out. I just think he wants to leave or at least get out of the AD position. The position may be a little more than he can handle.

I can tell you that if Adkins does take the AD job and IF his salary is bumped to 70k with the teaching slots being cut at GC. I really think the teachers will go bonkers. Of course the Super wants a 20k raise so maybe they can find some extra money to use for a teaching slot or two.

U know Im just going to come out and say it .The basketball players are getting screwed bigtime! A whole spring has came and gone and not one workout, not one open gym, not one of anything from anyone except the idiot that resigned. I want to know why he is still working colleges visits and talking to college and aau coaches for the players. Does anyone know what he is saying about the boys?

Where are the parents? Why havent they stepped forward and demanded someone to open the gym? Why havent they demanded that the administration tell them why they are waiting so long to hire a coach. Why arent the parents looking out for their sons? I can tell if they dont no one will. One parent and grandparent got mad and thats why were looking for a coach. Just where are the other parents?????? They need to grow a set!!

Most parents have been asking about the new coach and that summer ball starts in three weeks. These young men belong in the gym now!!!!! You know what happens when push or say anything or question anything at that school? The best thing the parents can do is let the school make up their mind and live with the one they pick or heads will role again at GREENUP if they dont WIN alot of games next year because they took so long to hire a COACH!!!!

You are correct to say the boys are getting screwed. But the parents are at a loss of what to say and to whom. With a spineless administration calling the shots, what do you do at this point? They (administration) must fear the wrath of the iceman. Good grief, he is only self appointed royalty with a big mouth and ego to match.

As a parent, and if my son wanted to play, I would be looking to move on to another school. After what KHSAA did for the boys and girls at Ashland and Fairview, there is no way they would declare them ineligible.
