Madon will stay under the radar. He may get 1000 yards passing.

WOW, finding a place for a 9th grader. Wont that make a few upperclassmen upset? I mean when you have to play family over those who pay their dues.

Had almost 1500 hundred last year. He may break the single season record this season though.

I'm just basing my prediction on the running game. I see Corey doing to most teams what he did against Rock. 3 or 4 rushing touchdowns in the first half calls for less passing.

True I understand what you are saying.

I agree, Logan Johnson is going to be the quarterback this year. He has earned it.

I think what he is saying is Daulton Sizemore is as good of a athlete as anyone coming in to there freshman year. He is that good. What they will do is use him at a position in the offense that we are lacking, and may get a little DB action too since that is his position on defense. Now getting back on topic, I think Logan will be the best quarterback in the region this season.

Wow already got a incoming freshman starting. I wonder how parents feel of kids who are all ready there busting their butts and playing JV.
Pulaski is the best QB this season in the region, bet anything on it. He lit you all up this year.

He'll have a much smaller, but much quicker and athletic offensive line around him this season. Credit has to go to Tilghman for a great game plan in the state finals but in Erik's defense he played with a severely sprained right ankle that a lot of people didn't know about. Not only did it keep him from using his legs to keep plays alive and avoid pressure but it was his plant foot and several of his throws that came up short or fluttered would have looked much different if he had been healthy. He should have a big season this year as he will also have Derrick Jackson back in the backfield after he missed almost all of last season. He rushed for over 700 yards as a sophomore and would have been the Briar Jumpers leading rusher last season if not for the injury.

I dought if any kid works as hard as this kid. FORMER i would say you have never seen this kid play, believe me nobody will be giving him nothing he has not earned. Please explain why a freshmen playing is such a bad thing, how many 8th graders would be working to get ready to play for a team 125 miles away without anyone there pushing him.I believe he will be playing as a freshman at what position who knows that will be the coachs call, but what ever he is asked to do he will. Austin Collinswoth of Highlands one of the top recruited recievers in the nation was asked to play running back last year for his TEAM and he did. It want be about I or me it will be whats best for the team. At 6' 195 lbs benching 250 lbs, ran a 4-6-2 shuttle,8' broad jump at a recent combine it want be hard to find a position for this kid.(IT'S EASY FOR NARROW MINDED PEOPLE TO GET TUNNEL VISION)

Austin Collinsworth is a great high school player. However, he is NOT one of the top recruited receivers in the nation. He is a 3* recruit and is only listed as the 7th best prospect at his position in Kentucky. If his last name wasn't Collinsworth no one would no who he was.

This kid was the real deal I don't care what his last name was.

i very seriously doubt A 8th grader ran a 4.6 I am sure no one is working at Letcher right now since they know an 8th grader will be taking their job already. Heck he better just go straight to college with those numbers.

The kid ran a 4-6-2 shuttle time please check http://www.davidschuman.com and scroll to the combine in Lexington Ky it has all the results to verify my statement. "GEEZ" don't you know that 8th graders are not allowed to play varsity football.

I looked at it wrong. He was rated as the 7th best player in Kentucky--not the 7th best receiver. He was, however, unranked nationally as a wideout.

Kinda hurts Ben Madons passing game but this is one of the top atheletes in the mountains period regardless of position. The kid is 6'3" runs in the 4.5 / 4.6 range is a team player, fun to be around, team leader and very aggressive competitor. Thus, Ben has to be one of the top 5 QB's in the state this coming hear.

Dakota Newsome from South Floyd is a very talented QB, only played 7 games for the Raiders last season and threw over 1000 Yrds and ran for 800 with over 15 TDS combined, look for this kid to do good things in 2010
