No surprise. I don't think a trip to the Sweet 16 would have saved his job. Been a long time coming. I think had he not been in the car wreck last year they would have "released" him then.

I'd like to see Brian Britt get the job. It doesn't look like former Mercer County Scottie and current Boyle County coach Steve Adams is interested in the job. Which is excellent. He is a great fit at Boyle County.

Good luck to Mercer County. Whoever gets the job will be walking into a good situation with a talented team.

This must have been in the works for a while now,the releasing of Cundiff, because it would be hard to justify moving on considering their finish to the season.
This is an attractive job.
Britt would be a good hire for Mercer.
