Good choice for him, and a great school. From what I've heard Ashley is very concerned about his academics, and this school will do a great job of preparing him for life after college. Congrats.

I think Transy was a good choice for Ashley. Transy fans enjoy their basketball and I think Ashley will be a good fit there. He really stepped up his game this year, and played well against good competition. His performance in the state championship game was impressive, offensively and being the secondary ballhandler. Congrats to Ashley...

I agree!! Completely had the best of the championship game. They really put the pressure on Elisha freeing up Ashley and he responded.

He will join another 15th region player in former Panther, Matt Clevenger.

Congrats to this young man!! Well deserved and seems to be a class act!!! Glad to see he can have a great career ahead of him on the hardwood and in the books. I still feel he didn't get his just due in the AP All-State selections especially considering his outstanding performance in the State Finals against Ballard!!! Way to make the mountains proud Ashley!!!!!

That is a pretty cool detail. I love to see that next year. It should peak some more interest of the eastern ky fans.
