Curtis Turley, who once coached the boys basketball team at Shelby County High School, will return to the county â but this time to coach the boys at the new Collins High School.

His first job will be to keep Darryl Hicks at Collins ... he'll have a good start on putting together a good team if he does.

The man can coach, no doubt about that. I wonder what kind of schedule he will put together for them? From what I understand, most of the athletes in the Shelby County system come from what will now be the Collins district...if that's the case, then Collins could be a team to be reckoned with in a short amount of time. I'm sure that really stings the Shelby faithful.

This is the question that the school should have been asking before they placed him as head coach. Look at the resume. As soon as things get rocky, he disappears. Again, look at his resume!
