They were ranked #1 all year. I can't help but to laugh a little. Sounds like all those D-1 players didn't make much of a difference. Or O-Cath is better than advertised.:yikes:

Ft. Campbell shot theirselves in the foot, they were penalized 5 times in the final 6 minutes for a loss of bout 45 + yards, they had to punt to OC and OC scored...Ft.Campbell beat themselves.

Again, Unbelieveable!!! Those kind of mistakes, if I'm not mistaken, have haunted Ft. Campbell in the last few playoffs. I'm stunned.

What a great game. I thought Ft. Campbell would win state this season. Owensboro Catholic has a great team and showed it tonight. Congrats to both clubs.

Belfry Pride- Fort Campbell didnt shoot themselves in the foot. Caltholic had 5 turnovers the whole game, had 7 penalities. Catholic won on pure talent and skills. This is what i said the whole way, Im riding Catholic all the way to STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OC won tonight on pure talent and skill. They took Johnson out of the game early. He had never seen or been hit by a defense like OCS before. OCS offense was unbelievealble. The Coach for OC (John Edge) has a football mind. He lives and breathes football. Im riding Catholic all the way to state!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that OC will host DeSales in the next round. DeSales won soundly this week, 55-8, over Western.

Is it just me or everyone think that they build-up teams from the west in 2A every year. For the past 3 years, all I have heard is how someone from the west (Fort Campbell, OC, Elizabethtown) will win state and how they have it sewn up. All I've heard this year is that it didn't matter who made it to state, Fort Campbell already has it in their pocket. This goes to prove that no one knows the outcome of the game. It is played on the field with everyone starting at zero on the scoreboard.

Congratulations OC. You were definitely the better team last night.

I agree shocking..I think that its good to lose at least 1 game if you ask me...Where players dont get the big head..I'm not saying thats the case but you never know.?? Congrats OCath!!!!!
