LaDainian Tomlinson To Minnesota Vikings???

The Minnesota Vikings are apparently interested in signing free agent running back LaDainian Tomlinson, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Tomlinson, who tearfully got released from the San Diego Chargers last week after playing there since he was drafted in 2001, would apparently be more of interest to the Vikes than former Philadelphia Eagles running back (and fellow free agent) Brian Westbrook.

The Oakland Raiders also might be interested in signing the 30-year-old Tomlinson, who had 12 touchdowns last year on 223 carries for 730 yards.

With LT and AP in the backfield...the Chargers running game would be hard to stop..

They are looking for LT to do the same role he did last year with the Chargers and to fill the void left by Chester Taylor's departure. They need to replace their 3rd down specialist

man...i sure hope LT comes to the Vikings. Having Peterson, LT, Rice, Harvin, and possibly FARVE behind the center!!! man...that will be a stout team for sure!!!!! Look for vikings to do big things next season....possibly go to the SUPER BOWL!!!!!

New York will be seeing Tomlinson for the next 2 years now.

this can hurt the vikings but also help them...cause at this stage in tomlinson's career he's not playing that great but i think he will play good in minnesota cause they have a pretty good o-line and tomlinson dont have to carry the load
