Really sad to see Noble play her heart out and her supporting cast not even show up tonight. Breathitt's post players got out rebounded by a much smaller team the whole game.
Breathitt had a great year but really let a great chance to make it to Sat. mourning get away from them. Best of luck to Breathitt's Sr. ball players. Is Keeton gonig to go to college anywhere and play with her size I would think some small schools would be giving her some looks?

Congrats to Coach Tackett and the Lady Vikes! Keep it up make the state take notice of the 16th Region. Good luck on Friday will be pulling for you!

Noble also led everyone in assists with (6) for the game. 21 pts. + 6 assists (12 pts.) = 33 of 39 pts. That's 84.6% of the offense.

This is Breathitt's 4th trip in a row and they are 1-5 in state tourney games. In the same span they have only one 14th region loss.
I know it is a shame Letcher Central or Knott County couldn't of had good nights against them in the region. I think either of those two teams could of beat Rowan on a bad night.

Breathitt simply wasn't ready to play. Everyone including my self had Breathitt penciled in to the final four and possibly the championship game this year. The ladycats simply overlooked Rowan County and when they got down ten points they never could recover. Rowan County gave Breathitt a chance at the end of the game by missing free throws but Breathitt just kept shooting bricks from the three point line. I think if Kendall stays Breathitt will have a chance to make it five straight regional championships but they will need someone to take the place of Keeton. Breathitt showed it's youth and inexperience in this years tournament and I do believe if Breathitt makes it back to the sweet sixteen next year they will have a better showing. Good luck ladycats in 2011.

Noble is something special. It is to bad she could not get the help she needed from the rest of the team to move on in this tournament.

Is it true that the Superintendent of Breathitt County schools made the team go home the next day because he was humiliated on how the team played.

lol. Now that's funny! I've seen em both play, and its obvious they cant beat Breathitt, so what makes you think they could beat Rowan "on a bad ninght"? Haha! Ridiculous speculation. BC got the crap guarded out of them, got attacked on when they were on D, and had no answers. Looks like they should have spent more time diversifying their offense, cause the whole team stood around and watched Noble, and it appeared that they were conditioned to let Noble shoot whenever she wanted and then try to rebound and put it back in. Didn't work. BC is one very good player and some very average players, and they got out worked by a TEAM.

Wow, he can't speculate ? But because you have seen em both play you become the GURU and you know they can't beat BC ! BTW.... I noticed somebody else got the crap gaurded out of them !

Breathitt did get beat on their home floor by Letcher but didn't Breathitt beat Letcher twice on their home court. The only reason Letcher beat Breathitt at home was because Breathitt wasn't up for this game after beating the number 3 team in the state and eventual state champs, Louisville Mercy. Any one who knows anything about basketball can see that Breathitt is head and shoulders above every team in the 14th region. Breathitt dominated Letcher in the region on their home floor. Enough Said.

Without Keeton next season, Breathitt will stuggle against Knott, Letcher, and Perry.
