Not really a shocker for me. I called this one. Ryle played Boone tough in both regular season games and had late leads but couldn't hold on.
Add in the distraction that Boone has had two players quit the team in the past week (Popp & Schultz) and this doesn't seem like an upset to me at all.
Ryle has now beaten Boone by 15, Highlands by 15, Lafayette by 17 and Holmes be 5....that loss to Ryle isn't looking so bad now considering Ryle knocked off the preseason top 3 teams in the 9th.
They will be a dangerous team in the region. I feel sorry for whoever gets Boone in the first round. (I'm predicting we'll see a Holmes/Boone first round matchup)
