Fugate is a lot stronger than Cornett and I see Cornett getting into foul trouble easily in this gym. I'm gonna say Hazard by 4. Possible OT.

Perry by 10 or less!

dore20 Wrote:So is anyone gonna be showing this game online like a radio staion or wymt?
No they would prefer to drive to Pikeville to show a stupid college game on saturday that has no meaning at all. They are located right here in Hazard and do not care one bit about the athletes here in this county. Totally ridiculous. Why can't they be like Knott county and at least record the game and put it on tape delay or something so the people that can't get into these games or not make it out of their house get to enjoy these games too. No they are too busy driving back and forth to London, Corbin, or Pikeville trying to keep all of them happy, and forgetting about what county they are working in. I bet if it was Shelby Valley playing someone that could actually beat them in the 15th tourney they would have it on. Would of been really nice to have this the game of the week because we all know there will be far more than 2200 people wanting in at this one and won't be able to get a seat. Thanks WYMT for all the support of PERRY COUNTY.

Not even close, Perry can't score 63 points. This will be a defensive battle, first team to 50 wins.

PCC in a close game

Anyone know an exact time the doors open?

I'm still baffled that the regional tournament is still held there in the rotation. It's way too small and there's not enough parking.

However I don't think 4000 will hold the people wanting to see this one. Parking is a different story!!!!:thatsfunn:lmao::what::please::nope:
Good luck to both teams. According to KHSAA scoreboard PCC has won 8 out of the last 11 district titles.
This region is definitely a "pick em" to use a Vegas term.
It holds 2200. I have counted every seat in that place, row by row. It won't seat many more than Estill County's gym.

5:30. Hazard said they wasn't selling any tickets in advance but they've been selling tickets at the school since it started!

Probably won't have many tickets left by 5:30, IF YOU WANT IN, YOU BETTER GET UP THEIR NOW AND GET A TICKET OR YOU WON'T GET IN! The Fire marshall is keeping a close eye on the number of tickets sold.

I'd say people are starting to head toward Memorial now. School lets out in just a bit. Think I'll sit this one out and listen. Going to be a great one though. Not sure who I pick in it. Going to be a lot of emotion so I don't think anyone will run away with this one. Winner by 4.

With Hazards decision to not play PCC through the regular season has really made PCC vs KCC the best rivalry in the region now.

Day doesn't dominate big people a whole lot but you had to like him in that matchup. However you can always expect Blank to light things up. So i'd say that was where you could blame Perry.
anyway, look for this same type of thing to happen against Hazard. Fugate is the stronger, Faster, Better player. so don't be upset if Cornett doesn't see alot of time in this one, and i say that will be why the Dores go home a loser.
I messed that name up.
It was Zack Gay that matched up against J-Kelly.
J-Kelly could take Matt Day lol

It was a typo.
That was Zack Gay as their center at the time.
Man he could trow it down...

The only way these teams score 60 IMO is through excessive turnovers.

AMEN!!!! It is the worst facility in the region IMO. for hosting a regional or anything else. No Parking, bathrooms are a disaster, evacuation would be a total catastrophy---
