Perry Co. Central @ Hazard 2/26 (54th District Championship)
#1
good luck to both teams. thoughts.

Been waiting all year for this game to roll back around; absolutely CAN'T WAIT! Tensions going to explode when these two teams meet again, theres no doubt about it.

Perry is on a roll and I'm sure that overtime loss in the regional finals is still on there mind. I look for them to win by 6-13 points. It will be back and forth the entire game but Perry will make there free throws and pull away late. Both big man(Cornett/Fugate), tend to get in foul trouble. I could see this game being played with those two sitting on the bench for long periods of time. Hopefully they stay out of foul trouble though. That matchup is very intriguing. Hopefully the refs get control of this one or it could get ugly. Going to be packed, come very early if you want a seat!

This should be a wild one without a doubt. How ever i think this year Perry is just flat out better. Ill take Perry by at least 11.

PCC by 9.
#6
im going to take pcc by 11.....cant wait for this 1

I think that PCC is the best team in the 14th region and that they will win the 14th region. However though it will be like last year with Hazard. PCC goes to the region a loser.

Hazard will win at memorial by 10

Perry beat Hazard in the finals of the 54th last year. They eventually lost to them in the regional championship.

Thats what I was meaning Hazard won the region last year after losing the 54th. I think that Hazard will win the 54th but PCC will win the 14th region.

By order of the fire marshal. I will be there early and waiting though.

Should be a good one but PC has a better team but Big Al has his talent and knows how to win big games and will be looking for reveage from last year and plus its at Hazard so I dont think it will get ugly, Id say PCC is prolly a 2 1/2 pt favor in this one. If Back knocks down his 3s and Bj doesnt settle for jumpers Hazard could come out on top. Im saying PC wins but I'll let you guys pick who Ill be cheering for Big Grin

Hey Aslan, see if PCC don't win by double digits I believe Dillion stays out of foul trouble in this one not sure about Fugate but do know the Dillion is alot better player than Fugate.

I don't think Cornett has done enough to be considered the better player.
He's bigger and has some nice post moves, but I just don't think we can call him better.

Cory Martin will stroke it from deep.
Noble will hit his shots.
Amis will fly coast to coast.
Tyler will throw it down hard.
These guys have been waiting for this one.
Hazard officials decided to disband this rivalry and it's going to bite them in the backside now.
We all know the ordinance had nothing to do with the safety of the players and fans....
it was to keep what's going to happen Friday from happening multiple times a year.

Are you sure about that time? They usually open the doors one hour before game time. I really can't see them opening them 2 1/2 hours before the game starts.

You know we all need to remember that both teams get to move on from this game. It's not a life or death, loser-go-home-'til-next-year like the first round game. There will be a winner and a runner-up and both teams will move on to the regional. We all need to remain civil during this game. Support your team but remember that both teams will be advancing. Good luck to both teams.

i dont know who to go for cause its gonna be one wild game i think both ways but if i had to pick id go with perry by 4
#20
So is anyone gonna be showing this game online like a radio staion or wymt?
#21
I like PCC to take this one. I think they simply have more overall talent than the Dogs and that will be the difference.

With the game being at Hazard though, I think they win by less than 10 and it will be because of a late Hazard run.
#22
Cant wait to see this one. It will be one of the best district championship games in the state. I will take PCC in a tight one. PCC-56 Hazard-50

No, I'm not sure. That's what someone told me though. If you find out something different please post it. Thanks.

Your right. But there is a lot of pride on the line here and I know that overtime loss is still on the Dores minds. Plus the loser has a chance of drawing Knott. That don't bother me but Hazard has had trouble with the Pats this year.

Both teams are advancing....
but this is a game that there is no rematch promised.
They can meet up again but it isn't a guarantee....and these players want this game bad.

However, everyone should still remain civil. It still is only just a ballgame at the end of the day, and it isn't worth causing any trouble.

PCC by 12 or less
#28
HHS by 12
#29
PCC by 13.

Should be a great game and quite the atmosphere!! I might just have to go meet up with my PCC buddies and go to this one! Should be a great game as it always is when these two get together, I would say that tempers may get the better of some players if tension starts to arise during the game. I'm gonna say that PCC wins it in a close game by 6
