Coming off their toughest week of the season (did you think weâd be saying that with the UConn - UNC gauntlet earlier this year?), Kentucky has been named ESPNâ Team of the Week. A pair of road wins in rowdy environments thanks to clutch playmaking earned the nod from Andy Katz, who says the Cats have now locked up a #1 seed in the tournament. Now, the usual Monday wait for Freshman of the Week and how many #1 votes they picked up.

Conference games are always tougher. Especially on the road.

It is nice to get that honor but it puts a BIG bullseye on your back....

Well deserved accolade for the young cats. Hopefully they can build on it and know that it should not go to their head. I think that it is great to see things like this again after the considered cupcake run in the SEC.
