Okay, I understand why Barack Obama is more comfortable using a teleprompter when he addresses large audiences. He has a sweet voice but he is not in the league of a Ronald Reagan or even an Alan Keyes when he speaks without a teleprompter - few people are.

However, after a full year in office, I expected that my president would feel comfortably confident addressing a small group without his trusty TOTUS. At least he should be able to participate in a small, private meeting without standing at the presidential podium with his teleprompter.

Are my expectations too high? Judge for yourself.

Obama is the most clueless president that this nation has ever had. Not only is he incompetent himself, he has put together the most incompetent and inexperienced cabinet in history. He is making Carter look good in comparison and Carter's presidency was a disaster. Obama says nothing of any depth. He reminds me more everyday of Chancy the Gardener. I am still trying to decide if he is really, really stupid or if he is just a great actor.

It is impossible to win a debate with ignorance, as it is hard for ignorance to admit defeat because the very ignorance cannot discern it. The names, as long as they stay within range, are actually an aspect of Oxford Style debate. I don't think "Hack Gibson" is understood by the Jethro second grader, though I guess it is possible. You're not politically ignorant, Hoot, but you are a hack, as you see the landscape through a certain refraction, irregardless.

This grows tiresome. If you are an advocate for "trickle down" economic theory, so be it... doesn't make you a hater of America. In my opinion, it is a dubious premise. However, the idea that the minimum wage ought to be a living wage in line with rates of inflation? You guys suggest ideas like these are "socialist." The desire to try a terrorist using the highest ideals of American jurisprudence? "Traitor" you guys say. Apparently, you either have a bias against people who went to Harvard... but since Bush went to Yale, likewise Ivy League, ... well, what's one left to ask?
