Big time game!!! I can not wait to see this one come up on the threads. It should be a classic. Still I will take Knott by 4 in the end. May come down to free throws and which team can build the small lead toward the end of the game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the last to yrs. PCC has been beat by double digits only once and that was at Hazard during the reg. season I think by 12 or 15 pts. I beleive I'm right about this.

You are correct..

There last double digit loss was over a year ago and that was to the eventually regional champs, Hazard 36 - 51. The game was also @ Hazard.
People saying this is going to be a double digit game either way, know nothing about basketball or you just haven't watched these two teams play.

Yeah.. thats about a 1 in a 1000 chance of being possible while playing at Knott.. God knows how hard it is to win there because of the officiating problems.
02-11-2010, 07:25 AM
^Just as hard to win at Perry with the officiating problems as they proved a couple weeks ago. They lost by double digits last year to the eventually regional champs in Hazard. This year they will lose by double digits to the eventually regional champs in Knott Central. Knott by 11, if not more. Go Pats! I cant wait to hear the draw from the 54th District tonight.

Greenstuff22's prediction might not be far off. I think Knott will take charge of this game and win big.

I'm honestly not even going to attempt arguing with you. You and I are biased considering we're fans of the two opposing teams; but let anyone unbiased tell you which gym is worse. EVERYONE gets hosed when playing knott there.

I also predict Knott to win this game but there's NOWAY they win by double digits. Like I said earlier, Perry's played better teams than Knott and have not been beaten by more than 5. So double digits is really unlikely. Heck, Knott played great against Perry, Tyler Mullins didn't score a point, and Perry STILL won. You obviously don't watch much basketball or you just have no idea what your talking about.

Whats crazy is the refs who officiate games at Knott Central is the same refs who are officiating at Perry. Maybe its just the lack of quality refs we have in this area.

You and I both know Aslan in a rivalry game, throw that crap out the window of who played who and how much they've won by. If Mullins is suppose to be so Great, where was he in the last game. Did Roberts and Ratliff shut him down or his he just not as good as you and others have advertised him to be. Great players do not put up goose eggs.

Roberts and Ratliff didnt even gaurd him half the time it was Cox and Stamper. He had 5 HUGE defensive rebounds in the OT and finished the game with about 15 rebounds.
02-11-2010, 04:30 PM
It's not like he did nothing. He had 15 huge rebounds and I'm sure a few blocks. His presence as a shot blocker impacts the game as well. He don't have to score to make a huge impact. But he didn't even score and Perry still won. You know he's going to AT LEAST make a few field goals this time. He's a good player and one of the better ones in the region.

Maybe he met a player than can match up and guard him in Nason?

Nason was guarding Cornett and we all know how that went.

High school ball game, **** me off, Nope...I'll say KC by 3 in OT.

Your right, getting mad bc of a ballgame is silly. Good luck to both teams, go Dores.

My head says Knott....
but my heart says Perry....
so I say Perry by 5 in regulation
Knott is tough at home but if Perry slows the game down enough and takes good shots they can beat anyone. If they take advantage of the weak interior defense by getting it to Cornett they will get far. Martin is a tough player to guard who came up big in the last game....and never forget if you leave Chris Noble open he will burn you. Add Jordan Amis and Tyler Mullins in the mix and you have a whole lot to deal with. On the other side you have the best backcourt in Southeastern Kentucky with a very experienced coach. It should be a good one.
