agree - but knowing Cody, he doesn't care - he just does what it takes to help his team win and he knows his role is a defensive specialist - how about his key steal and other defensive plays in the 4th quarter to help swing the momentum back to SV
way to go Wildcats and ALL 5 of you seniors -- you are making history in the Valley

This is a great tournament but they cram too many games in, we didn't tipoff til 10:34 and ended after 12. Don't know if refs are told to let the clock run but they definitely let them play too rough. I thought Johnnie Webb did a good job in the games he called.

I agree that Varney should have made the all tournament team. He may not have filled it up on the offensive end but that kid flat out gets after it on defense.
I believe he had 4 of 5 blocks out on the perimeter in the championship game.
BTW, it really would have been interesting to see a Rose Hill- Shelby Valley match up this year had everyone stayed.
Rose Hill could've potentially had the following team:
Corey Gregg, Mike Terry, Chad Jackson, J.D Adams, Dakotah Euton, Ryan Whetsel, Robbie Barber, Colin Kennedy, and Kyle Bush
Now that would have been a fun team to watch SV go up against. Not only would Rose Hill have been an All "A" favorite, but that would have been a top 5 team in the state and legit Sweet 16 favorite.

So proud to be a Valley Wildcat!! I can not wait for the regional and state tourney to start. Im ready to see if they can win the big one. They will have to play better than what they did during the All A but if they can put it together for 3 days.... Anything can happen!! Come on boys!!!

Here is a short video of Elisha being interviewed during the All "A". In it, he talks about his decision making process in choosing to attend Louisville.

Great link, everyone should watch this.
You have to love Elisha, what a great young man with a great future. He seems to have perspective on things that a lot of adults dont have.
I wish him well.

A little off subject, but I'd like to read some opinions about the All A itself: Desales is an all boys private school with an enrollment of 600. Should they even be in the All A? Plus, when the public schools play, the crowds are good, exciting atmosphere... but, when, for instance, UHA and Owensboro Catholic played, nobody cared.

Nice win for the Valley. You have represented Eastern Kentucky very well. Now hopefully you will bring home the title at rupp.
