Last team to accomplish this feat was University Heights in 98-99.
I'll echo the sentiments of Stardust...I, too, was impressed with the Newsome boys over the past few days.
EJ gets all the pub, and rightfully so, but the Newsome boys are the "blue collar" players that make that team go. Both do a great job at both ends of the floor.
BTW, I really like the "swagger" that SV plays with. Some might call it being cocky, but they seem to have a lot of fun when they're out there and especially during introductions.
Good luck the rest of the season Valley. Hopefully my Dogs will have a chance to meet up with you guys somewhere down the road...only one time and place that could happen though.:Thumbs:

Tyler. Their were stretches that he took over games, just as much as Justice did.

Congrats to Valley on another All A. This teams defense was most impressive to me. They had a more than their average in turnovers for this game and shot poorly in the second half but their defense never let up, caused Desales problems all afternoon. Desales was very patient and made SV work on the defensive end and they played tough throughout.

Congrats Valley

Valley's 2-1-2 zone really gave Desales fits. They didn't know how to attack it and SV's quickness on the perimeter cause them to settle for bad shots.

I agree...both were very good players but simply didn't have a good enough supporting cast.
That's what separated Valley from other teams in this tournament. While other had 1 or 2 very good players, Valley had 5 guys that were all capable of leading them in scoring. They showed very nice balance throughout the tourney.
