Nice game Rockcastle
#3
congrats to the rockets

I was told that the Rockets shot 30+ freethrows, Pulaski shot 4. Any truth to this?

Rock shot 25, Pulaski shot 16, two of PC free throws came before the game after one of the Rock players got a T for dunking during warm ups.

Thanks Rock for the info. I thought 30 to 4 seemed unlikely,

This information must have came from the whining fans of PC. If they would worry more about coaching their players instead of harping on the referees they would probably win more games. But they won't have to worry about winning because they are digging a hole with the refs that they cannot get out of.

Congrats Rockcastle

I haven't heard anyone complaining.

I'm not sure as to where the post went about PC being 10-3 but obviously you arent around PC as much as you say you are because Pulaski is actually 2-10. And yes the refs can dictate as to which way a call can go why would a ref wanna give PC a call when the coaches are ALWAYS gripping about calls??

Good district win for Rockcastle!

Any team that CONSTANTLY whines about calls (I am not saying that PC does because I have not watched them this season) will be remembered by the officials.

The coaches are always gripping about the officiating. Whether it be an out of bounds call to a block/charge call. It's never ending with them.

I edited that post because I was talking about the girls team. The boys team, though the record is not that good, is getting better each night out. Show me a coach who is not jawing at the refs during a game...from ANY team! They all do it. For a referee to hold a "grudge" against any team for any reason, and have any influence on the outcome of a game is unprofessional and borderline criminal.

Ok, so your saying that you were talking about the Girls team on the BOYS Forum?? Come on your going to have to come up with a better excuse than that. And theres is two (2) coaches that come to mind that are not ALWAYS harping on the refs and those would be Rodney Woods and Dave Schulz. Now yes I will say that both of these men do QUESTION calls but thats it. They never argue about a call in the 4th quarter that was made in the 1st quarter. If the Gover's and I am talking about both Brad and Al would focus more on coaching the team instead of gripping at the refs then maybe they would be 10-3 instead of 3-10...
