Big win for the wolves. Southwest Virginia basketball is not strong but J.J. Kelly is usually one of the stronger programs in that area.

Kelly is usually one of the stronger programs in that area.Yes, its true basketball in southwest va isnt real strong, of course our boys cant play 50 regular season games and play varsity ball in the 7th grade. But yet its still strong enough to send the Wolves packing with a loss. Powell Valley 76 the Wolves 71, and it wouldnt have been close to that had it not been for foul trouble with our point guard. The Vikings were up by 22 in the 3rd and had to pull the PG for a while.

Powell Valley over Wolf 76-71.
Should have been much worse, had them down by 22 in the 3rd, our PG had some foul trouble and the press got them back in with him on the bench.
