St. X was just to much for the shamrocks, game was close until halftime, 2nd half was all St. X in this freezing weather. Good job both teams, about 9000 people, but again Excellet Job St. X.

Fort Thomas may or may not beat X or T. And X and/or T may very well beat Fort Thomas. The fact is we will never know for this year. So everyone can pontificate to their hearts desire because no one will know for sure one way or the other.
Still, we can firmly state that FTH, X, and T are, far and away, the top three in achievement and tradition in the Commonwealth. Even counting ancient titles, no one else is remotely close.

Very true post above, those 3 teams are on there own level of football.

I think that's stretching it a bit. Not sure I'd put St. X in the same category as Trinity and Highlands. Trinity and Highlands are at the top with their 19 titles but St. X and their 12 titles would be at the second level with Beechwood's 11 and Danville's 10. Level three would have Mayfield with 7 and Male, Cov Cath, Boyle County, and Fort Campbell with 6 each. After that it starts to fall off.

Cracks me up that St. X. is ranked #1 in the state ahead of Highlands who shallacked the team X got waxed by. Good ole' fashioned Ky. bias.....

That's why rankings are pointless. It's all opinion and opinions stink regardless of who's it is. Take Cincy St.X (the team "Highland's shallacked" and the team that "X got waxed by") for example. Some National Polls had them ranked No. 1 in the nation earlier in the season. They ended up losing in the second round of the Ohio playoffs.
