I am not sure but I think he may have coached at Allen Central at somepoint as well, since their field is named after him....

He was a character. I got to coach against him for several years. Who can forget his Einstein on O and Clinton on D comment. We will miss him. An interesting individual!

First, my prayers are with Donny and his family. I had nothing but respect for Don Daniels. As a coach and a person you knew where Don stood on everything. Don was old school and he coached that way. He taught me so much about offensive line. I played under Don and he and Shorty Jamerson were both positive influences on my life. I will miss him greatly.
