Paintsville took down the Lady Warriors of East Ridge tonight at Paintsville. The Lady Tigers played a run and gun style and won by the score of 76 to 68.

This is very surprising to me. I thought ER would beat this team. Not taking anything away from PHS but all the things that I have heard about ER, new coach and paintsville loosing what they did. I don't think ER lost anyone to graduation did they?

I don't think ER did lose anyone. Paintsville has a young team, only 1 senior and 4 or 5 of the girls scored in double figures in this game. They went about 8 players deep and led by as many as 17 points. One of Paintsville's big girls fouled out with about 4 minutes to go and ER was able to cut into the lead. Paintsville will be tough by tournament time.
