Should be two evenly matched teams. Lone Oak has a multi-dimensional attack.

I will wait till later to pick a score, after looking at Lone oaks schedule i dont think they have played a strong enough schedule to prepare them to play a team on Boyles level. With that being said i think Boyle will win by 2 to 3 tds.

I have a big fear of "let down" for Boyle in this game.

Last year Bell seemed to have one and it's only natural after playing in a titanic, physical war like this one was (and last years) that there may be a "letdown early" in the game from the week before.

Hope I'm wrong.

I actually think the opposite. While the Bell County win is a monkey off of our back, our motto this year is "Finish The Fight" and the 'Fight' is far from over. The coaches know this, the players know this and I know the fans know this. We have waited longer than we have wanted to get back to this point and now that we are here, I don't think a letdown is possible.

I think Coach French is going to remove any possible chance of a letdown.

Lone Oak's passing game is the only thing that scares me a little in this one. But I can't see them stopping MacShara. He'll have 250+

I'll take Boyle 42-28

Congrats to both for getting this far and I really thought the Boyle - Bell game was for the state title last night. However, for some reason I just can't take Boyle in this one. Maybe that will change later in the week but right now I'm taking Lone Oak to win it all.

Boyles defense is ranked #1 in the state for a reason.no way Lone oak scores 42.it will be more like 14 at the most.i think Rees breaks Jeremy simpsons record for most rushing yds in a season this friday.

How many yards is that?
#25
I think its 3,033 yds.im pretty sure this is still the state for most rushing yds in a season.

According to KHSAA these are the ones to go over 3,000 in a season:

3,361 Frank Jones (Bath County) 1969
3,166 Shaun Alexander (Boone County) 1994
3,044 Jeremy Simpson (Lincoln County) 1993
3,003 Derek Homer (Fort Knox) 1996
#27
If im correct after last nights game he will need a 156 yds to break the record.im pretty sure jeremy simpson still holds that record for a single season.he broke shaun alexanders record in the early 90s.
#28
Hatz i maybe wrong about simpson and alexander, but i know for sure simpson held the record after his senior season at lincoln county.i followed his senior year closely to see if he would break the record.i dont think K.H.S.A.A.is right about the guy from bath county.
#29
Hatz,i am wrong competely K.H.S.A.A.is right,my memory is slipping with old age.

Ok:Clap:........Even if Lone Oak does not score 40+, I think they still win by 10-14. That being said, I am not disrespecting Boyle because I know they are a great team. I just think that Lone Oak is a well balanced team and they will do better than did Bell Co. because of their balance.
