This is a rematch from last year's semi-state which was the best game I have seen in a long time. We drove to Bell last year just to watch the game and it did not let us down. Bell was in control early but Boyle hung around despite all the turnovers. Boyle had a great chance at the end and had the right play but the Bell Co. linebaker closed faster than I have ever seen before and Boyle came up short. Was really looking forward to being there for this one but we are going to be working at another game Friday. We have worked games involving Coach French and Coach Hilton a few times over the years and have enjoyed seeing how they run their programs and coach their players. Good luck to both teams and enjoy the battle. See you in Bowling Green.

In my opinion after watching 5 of your games your defense is not as good as it was last year, like it or not thats what i think.I promise Boyle will be way better than any team you have played since Alcoa.the 5 teams i have watched Bell play in all honesty are not very good at all.im not saying you guys are not capable of beating Boyle you may very well do it,but i like our chances a whole lot better after watching 5 of your games.im not a master of propaganda i was just repeating what i heard from a very reliable source who still says if it was a joke no one has told him yet.

Any of you bell co fan want to bet your screen name that your running back davenport rushes for more than 100 yard on boyles d ? Winner gets to pick !

How can a team that played a harder schedule this year than last year and have 4 shutouts with 3 being in the playoffs when it most counts. 6 games with only 6 or 7 points only being scored. Shutting out a RB who had 2,100 yards on the year to only 44 yards?

So if Boyle Co's D is so good who have they played?
11-26-2009, 02:07 AM
Jack,
In 08 in 14 games Bell Co gave up 1,095 passing yards.
In 09 in 13 games Bell Co has given up 910 passing yards.
Looks like to me the Pass D is about the same as 08.

Some of these posts make no sense. People on both sides are saying things out of ignorance that are pretty dumb to be honest. I haven't seen Bell Co. play, so I'm not going to say anything about them. I think this Boyle team is better than last year's, and I believe they can come out with the win. But, I won't be surprised if Bell wins.
Bottom line is, this should be a hard fought, close game between two very good teams.

Dont know why we would want to try and film their pratices for anything you want to see about either team is on utube. Can get game film from any game or all the games they have played this year .I hope we can all keep the lies and bulls**t down to ankle deep instead of up to the knees .Both teams have played weak teams this year. You pick the teams u played based on what they did the year before if they flop the next year it isnt your fault.Friday is put up or shut up time good luck to the PLAYERS on both teams ,hope the game is injury free and all bell fans be careful its a long drive.REMEMBER last year about this time .:redboxer:

Just because a team has a winning record dosent mean they have a good team.we played Bullit east 2 or 3 times in the deep in the playoffs, and they were undefeated but we would beat them by 50 pts.so in my opinion they were not very good. all i was saying was after the marion county game your competion hasnt been all that good.no disrespect intended to these teams, and in my opionion i think your defense was better last year.i said your offense was better than last year.dont i get credit for anything.Bell is capable of beating Boyle, but the level of competion Boyle will bring friday will be by far the best you have seen since Alcoa.I wasnt putting Bell down after watching 5 of thier games i was just giving my opinion on thier offense, and defense compared to last year.give last years Bell team some credit they were a very good football team.
11-26-2009, 09:50 AM
I would think the reason you would film another teams practice the week before you play would be to find out thier game plan for that friday.in other words to see what plays thier practiceing for that game, and what formations thier lining up end if you know what plays thier going to run by the formation thier in.i would think it would give you a huge advantage.thats common sense.:ChairHit:

Why give stats for only 14 games in '08 when 15 were played?
The two pass defenses seem equal but the x factor not discussed would be the level of the passing teams you are playing in '09 vs. '08.
I think the comparison stats have too many "x" factors to prove anything but they do keep us busy here.
It's going to be a great game on Friday night and I wish I could be there. Best of luck to both Boyle and Bell and I hope the best team wins to move on to the State.

In my day it was just spying and writing down what the spy saw from the cornfield. Matthew Brady was tied up with his new photographic equipment and couldn't come take pictures.

Marion County should have been a blowout besides a 5 point victory considering they had a schedule of opponents that combined a record of 63-76 BUT Marion over all going into the semi-finals have played 4 winning teams. I can easily explain Rock,Knox,Madison Southern and McCreary Central in this case but overall IMO, Boyle will be the ultimate test overall. Bell has not been tested all year util Alcoa and Harlan came but now it will hit'em hard with a taste of an awakening atmosphere. You know that song from Elvis Presley "Return To Sender", that will be the exact title of the result after this game friday night.

Rushing only not total yardage.
Which ever RB gets the most yards wins the bet.
How about a side bet? The team with the most total rushing yards? Are you in?

34 hours and 5 min. Man I can't wait. All joking aside, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I am thankful that we all can get on here and talk about our teams and debate about who has the best team and who will when. Just got to love it. Now back to the game. My gut tells me that Boyle will win by 14. Now this is just my gut feeling. It the same feeling I had when serving in Desert Storm. And I had when my son passed away 9 years ago. My gut has been wrong before also, you can ask my wife about that one. Again it is just a gut feeling. But I would not be surprised if Bell was to win. I think this going to a dandy of a game and good luck to both teams.

First of all Happy Thanksgiving to all High School football fans. There is just something to be said about playing on Thanksgiving week. Bell and Boyle are both great programs and I know it will be a great game. Now with that being said. I hope Rocket 01 gets some love this week from some Bell fans so he want constantly remind us how bad our team is. Yes, I know you will come back with you have a right to your a opinion, but the same one over, and over and over about how we play no one, we are going to get killed, you know more than all of us. Do you remember this song during your days in high school, CAN'T TOUCH THIS. That is the reality for you. Can't touch them Bobcats. Have fun watching us win another one. :1:
