umm..no...its about a bunch of spoiled teenagers...and I've never watched over 2 minutes of it but I know a few that does watch so thats how I know what its about.

Show about a bunch of rich kids. They just follow them around during their daily life. Stupid.

I've never watched it but a bunch of girls from school does, even if I had MTV I seriously doubt that I would ever leave it on this show, seems retarded if you ask me.

I watch the show and I love it. I have the 1st season on DVD and I watch every new episode on Mondays. Yeah it's about a bunch of rich kids but I find it interesting because of the drama.

I'm young have had a job since I was 14 and I love the show, is that ok? Doesn't make me stupid does it?

Money doesn't buy happiness brother! Just b/c you're rich and have things handed to you doesn't mean you are not allowed to have an interesting life.

Trust me there is alot of drama but iut's all typical teenage stuff like fighting with friends, stealing others boyfriends etc. It doesn't sound like a good show but it is...there are only two people on the show that I like, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't watch it as much...Balla likes it alot too.

I know what money can and can't buy.

I think everyone has an interesting life for the most part. But these kids don't have the normal American life. Can you see them doing this show on kids from Kentucky or Ohio. NOPE isn't going to happen. Because its about MONEY and no one would watch that. But the kids will watch this show and buy into that way of life and sit around thinking how I wish I was them. And I just love the morals that these kids have from what I've seen its nothing that I would want my kids to watch when their teenagers.

I'm a teenager and I haven't been influenced by the show. This isn't the only show that influences, every show on tv today influences in some way or another. Most reality shows today are about rich people, like for example MTV's new show... Run's House...it's focused on them and they are rich...

That's great. But a lot of kids especially those with low self esteem will and have. I know we have other good and bad shows on TV but this thread is about Laguna Beach. I have several others that I would put in the same category.

I watch some reality shows but to watch a show that is just about camera's following around a bunch of kids I don't understand.

It shows that they go through the same things as all kids their age.... high school, friends, boy problems, prom and graduation and going off to college. It has made me think alot about what I want to do...espically watching the Graduation episode, I graduate in May and that episode has really got me thinking whhere I want to go to college next year. The kids on the show aren't as bad and it isn't really all about them. They do things like benefits and stuff to help out families in need like for exaplmple 20 homes were destroyed due to a landslide and they had a benefit concert and a fashion show and sold stuff to help raise money for the peole who were affected.

That's great glad they helped hope the show gave some money back also. If you like it I say enjoy and just don't understand it. I no I wouldn't let my kids watch it. To each his own.

Good luck with Graduation as you get older you realize how much fun you did have in high school and how you wish you could have known what you know now. We all have to learn from our own mistakes.

I tell you what I've been to many and I do mean many wrecks over the years and I've only had to take the seat belt off one person that wasn't alive. I can't count the number that IMO would still be alive today if they had just snapped the belt.

Personally I like Laguna Beach...like DT said earlier alot of watchin it is the drama and even though they maybe a bunch of "spoiled rich kids" lol as u all put it they still go through alot of the same things as everyone else...
It doesnt really influence my life or the way I live my life, but it is pretty easy to get hooked on to...just watch it once with an open mind and if you're in high school like me n my friends you'll probably be able to relate so some of their issues they go through, or you'll be wondring what's going to happen next...like Jason and Jessica kissed on the last episode despite the whole thing with LC ...or if you're older, you can watch it and look back on your high school times i guess...
