Congrats to the Bobcats and I wish you luck throughout your probable title run.

Thanks LWC. I was impressed with the crowd you all brought up, especially under the circumstances.
Good luck to you all next year, we would love for realignment as well. Love the games but we always know Rock is a threat.

 I was joking about re-alignment but that was a very classy comment, and it is appreciated.

I would still like to know from Rock fans who is better in your terms Bell Co or Boyle Co? Especially since you guys have played both teams.
Boyle Co 42
Rock 22
Bell Co 48
Rock (0)
Boyle Co 42
Rock 22
Bell Co 48
Rock (0)

It is very hard to tell. I know that your post is meant with sarcasm because you posted the scores from the biggest win for Bell County and the Boyle game.
Honestly, Bell fans get upset when a Rock fan will tell them that Boyle is a great team and that is difficult to tell which team is better. This is how I will do a break-down.

Run game- Boyle
O Line- Tie
D Line- Bell
QB- Tie
Linebackers- Boyle
Secondary Bell
Special Teams- ???
WR's, FB's Flankers etc...-???
That makes it 2 categories per team, which makes it hard to decide. Now let the debates begin! I can't wait for Bell fans to jump me for saying that Boyle's run game is better and for Boyle fans to jump me for saying that Bell's Defensive line is better! I can't win!!! :lmao:

Does Bell always kick onsides late in a game with a big lead or is just when they play Rockcsatle lol. But anyways congrats to Bell. they played a almost perfect game. Tonight they Looked like the #1 team. If i had to compare Boyle and Bell I would say Bell would the better Defense and Boyle would have the better Offence. But if the two do meet up I can promise you it would be they hardest hiting games you will see. Im going to try to come down next week and cheer on our district. I hope wins next week by 60 lol.

That is true and it might be even MORE than 20 years, but I am not sure.

did you notice the once or twice we did kick it deep you guys had good returns so we just stick to the short game that way nothing gets ran back and we can let our defense control the game

In all honesty Bell typically kicks it short, except for the years of Merrick. Madon reached the endzone early but as the game went on his kicks lost some distance, plus when you have a threat like Rowe back deep I think Hilton was content with kicking short and taking his chances with his defense.
I thought about this earlier today and thought I would post my thoughts. 1. Rock never quit during the entire game and 2. Coach Parkey was very gracious and had some very positive things to say to some of the Bell players after the game. He is a class act.

True But why would you do with a 40+ point lead late in a game. i can understand if it was a little closer but when its 41-0 in the 4th. It was clear by hafe way in the 3rd the game was over. Bell has one of the best Defences in the state it not like they couldnt hold stop them even if rock did have a good return. May I add its not the first time Old Dud has done it. they did it last year and the year before that with Monte Merrick. But anyways good Luck to Bell for the rest of the season. i hope you crush Bulldogs.

I'm sure Bell County fans LOVE Scott Parkey :lmao: He gives us 11 losses in two years and never moves past the 2nd round. The same Coach Parkey has a net total of -164 points against Bell County. (That is taking the total points that Bell has scored and subtracting what Rockcastle has scored). If I lived on Log Mountain I would sing his praises as well.
I am sure you did not mean it negatively, so I appreciate the thoughts. I am just venting my frustrations.

not to sound like a smart a but that was our Freshman kicker that done the final couple of kickoff's.
And the post about Coach Parkey. I don't think it would have mattered if it was Parkey, Larkey or Bear Bryant it would not have mattered. In Larkey's final year it was pretty lop sided as well.
11-15-2009, 11:25 PM
I am sure Bell would never, ever run the score up.

It still dont matter who's in the Game why kick onside kicks.

IF he had kick the ball to Rowe that would have won the game for Rock. Stop crying about it, the game was over before it started.

Never ever kick to a great return man. We didn't like kicking it to Rowe either. That is coaching and some need to not comment, if you don't know anything about it.
