Belfry fans had better forget about the first matchup. This SC team has enough talent to beat us, the first game just got away from them and we benefited by some great field position and timely turnovers. It could be a completely different game come Friday.

I expect SC to run some jet sweep and power sweep after watching the Johnson Central game. They have the linemen who can get out there in front and block. Belfry's DE's and CB's will be tested.

SC will run enough between the tackles to keep Belfry's LB's interested and they will likely jump into the spread and complete some passes. The Cardinals had Prestonsburg on their heels for a while in the 2nd half running a good mix and they will no doubt be well prepared for the Pirates.

SC has all the tools, they just have to keep their heads and use them. Turnovers will be a huge key, just like the first game. Belfry better have the right mindset or they will find themselves in a world of hurt.

Sweetie, Belfry fans ARE down to Earth and realize they CAN be beat. They HAVE been beat by 2 very good 5A teams just this season. They know how to win and how to lose. PERIOD!

As far as the fans go...I would love to not only see fans standing and cheering the entire game, I would love to be able to feel the excitement in the air again. I always think back to the Middlesboro game, when we outnumbered their fan base 3 to 1..the crowd was wild on everyplay. It was fantastic..or the famous Belfry/Pburg matchup at Death Valley. Talk about a game that I will never forget. The feeling of being at that game was magical.

I know that we are more spread out at CAM than we were at Vipperman, but the same school pride should be there. The boys need to feel the excitement and pride of us, the fans. They are the reason that we go to the games every Friday. I think a lot of us forget how hard these kids work each week and how much of themselves they leave out of that field every Friday.

As far as the cheerleaders go, I was a cheerleader, as well as, my daughters and they try as hard as they can to get the crown involved. They have signs that they use to try to get the fans to yell and they have came into the stands, but when they do, people usually run them over trying to get to the concession stand or tell them to move out of the way because they can't see the game.

I would like to challenge all of the student body, parents, friends, alumni & fans to have CAM totally rocked out this Friday. We aren't too old to be in that tunnel. As a matter of fact, It was in 1987 (I believe) that Belfry set the school record for having a 300 yard tunnel..Let's try to beat that!

Tough game for the Pirates this week. JC gave teams the perfect blueprint for success against Belfry. Belfry's defense really has to step up and play proficient football.....better angles.....better tackling....better pursuit.

We're paintin up, we have flags, we've got thunderstix, and we might possibly
even have a mega phone. Most importantly we're pumped up and ready to go
crazy, but the little bit of students cant be as loud all on our own, so If your
in the crowd and you dont scream when we entice you to, feel free to feel
useless. I also overheard that they're givin out the red towels tommorow but
I'm not exactly sure.

I do not have a dog in this hunt and has some very good friends on both sides. The home field advanage will help Belfry, but still not too far for SC fans to drive. Two great teams, this will be another classic SC-Belfry game.

The team that comes out and exeucutes it game plan best and limits its mistakes will win. I look for a tunrover, trick play or a play action pass to win this game. Good luck to both sides.

Who remembers the car horn somebody has had the last couple of years during the playoffs?? That thing was loud. Almost as loud as the train horn they have. That person didnt bring it to the 1st playoff game, if you know this person please tell them to bring it to tommarrows game. Also in the same section as that haorn was a kid with a trumpet that would make the loudest most anyoing thing ud ever heard of. It be great to see them there tommarrow!! somebody told me that the kid with the trumpet is in the 9th grade now tho and is playing so i guess someone will have to take his place.

To be fair to the cheerleaders, you will always hear the opposing side of the field louder than the ones in front of you due to the echo factor. If you walk to the other side of the field, you would hear our cheerleaders over theirs. Our cheerleaders stand down in what is basically a bowl and with all of the people talking from the front row up to the top row, it is almost impossible to hear anything.

I sit directly in front of the pressbox also, and I can't even see the girls. Not their fault. Maybe Mrs. Casey will let the girls use the megaphones or something.

I love this! It is great! It is about time the student body gets more involved with SCHOOL SPIRIT! Belfry is known for it's die-hard, true Pirate fans! The kids are not able to get involved during school because of the ludacris rules set against participating in such activities. Maybe they should let them have a little fun, and maybe just maybe our test scores wouldn't be so low. (Taboo, I know.) I can remember screaming until I was horse at many Belfry games along with my peers cheering for that victory! And rushing the field after a BIG win! The boys who played football in the past remember those things the most! Years ago at the OLD school. Every Friday was a huge pep rally. Before 1st Period, 2nd Period the band played between the Science and Main Building, Each lunch had a pep rally, and then 7th Period pep rallies (Which were insane!!! Spotlights, fog machines, band playing, it was ELECTRIC!) I encourage everyone to come out to this game with their MEAN MUGS on ready for a battle! Do I believe we will beat SC? Of course! Win or lose life’s pretty good, and why wouldn’t it be? I’m a Pirate, after all. Good luck to both teams! LET'S GO PIRATES!

Love this post, we have to bring the fanatic back out in Pirate fans. GAMETIME......13 hours 30 minutes away.....I just wish I could buckle the ol' chinstrap for this one. These games are what players live for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
