Two big possible milestones for two head coaches will take place in the playoffs..........
1. Sam Harp from Danville going for win No. 300 and 2. Tom Larkey from 2-year program Harlan County going for win No. 250!!!!!!! This will be a big big night for November. And for Coach Tom Larkey it is no better than going against Hillard Howard of Letcher Central which is also a 200 game winner. I wish the best of luck to Coach Larkey to achieve the milestone, I remember when Coach Larkey won his 200th overall game and winning his 300th game coached, so it will be great with no doubt in my mind.:Thumbs:

Both Larkey and Howard are class acts and two of the best coaches in the state. I am wore out, this week has been the longest week ever. I can't wait, the anticipation is killing me. The Bears are hoping for a rematch with Whitley next week and they really don't care where it is played. Can't sleep and probably won't. May get me some of that popcorn for a late night snack. No sleep tonight and absolutely none tomorrow night makes it rough on the hunting Saturday morning. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!!

I got to pull for the Bears on this one. Being from Harlan county, Graduating and playing for the late, great, Evarts Wildcats, its hard to go against my "HomeBlood". My son has played for Whitley since the 3rd grade and this is his last run. He told me the team would love a chance to match up with the Cougars again ,{even if its on the turf}, But the boys really would like a home game against the BlackBears! First, we have to go on the road and a take down a tough Pulaski team that hasn't lost a home game in 3 yrs. So good luck Bears and hope to see y'all next week!! HC 21 LCC 17

I think Harlan wins 27-7, I think the d will have Lcc QB running for his life, and I think the Bears O-D line will control the game and the ball, with the help of the great turf field they are going to get to play on. Seems like everyone thinks the turf is going to hurt Harlan I think its going to give them a boost, I look at the only thing that has stopped this year and most of it his been poor fields and fumbles, that said Harlan wins by about 2-3 TD's, Sorry Lcc if you were better I would say you but your not.

Nope! The Black Bears still got a couple weeks in them before the cold snap hits to set off the hibernation. They feed up big time before the hibernation comes too. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!
