Thanks for clearing that up this puts another bump in the road for the blackcats. Would much rather play DeSales than NCC on the road.

I don't know about that this year. DeSales is really tough this year. They are arguably a top three team in 2A.

If Pburg establishes a running game Roark will committ pass defense suicide. He will go single press coverage with his CB's turning their backs to the ball. he has done this for years and as a result he has been absolutely lit up by teams who can pass the ball.

Is Middlesboro a run heavy team like they were in '08? Last season they had Hunter Adams but after Pburg shut down the run they dropped back into shotgun and tried to throw the ball which it looked like they had never done and led to a 20-7 loss to the Blackcats.

Yeah I knew that Chase Roark was still the QB but I didn't know if they had changed there offensive game plan from predominantly run to a more passing based offense due to the fact they lost one of the best RB's in the state.

Easy win for Prestonsburg. Should be able to rest their starters the second half. Big advantage for the next week when they play Corbin.
