Central had some problems with Spencer Co. This could be the biggest upset of the year, even bigger than Doss over Anderson Co.
Western Hills is a tough bunch of kids with a great QB and a very good RB.
I will take Central, but this one may go to the wire.

I certainly think that Western Hills is a talented team with some pretty big kids for a 3A team. Their O-Line is way bigger than Central's D-line but despite that passing teams have never been all that successful against Central...their pass rush just seems to prevent teams from running their entire offense. Their Linebackers run like DB's which means that were most teams would be at a disadvantage in coverage they are not. When you run a no huddle on offense as Western Hills does it puts a lot of pressure on your defense to stop central on short rest should you not continue to get first downs and move the ball. Western Hills keeps it close but I think they wear down in the 4th Qtr when Central blows it open with their punishing run game.

I will take Western Hills in this close game... I personally know two or three kids from Western Hills and even coached the MLB that starts at Western Hills and I believe that they have a great chance at an upset... I will take Western Hills by 3, going with my heart and not my football knowledge

i believe this one comes down to who wants it...if central plays like the championship ball club that they are then it could be along night for hills but if they dont and over look them hills will run and gun all over bc curry is no joke nor is their running back wright! but in my own opionin dont want to offend either team but this is the year to beat central and western hills can do it and hills has none of the athletes that central does that is the diffrence in a state championship team... both teams need to go out and earn it bc some live it ! some pretend ....

I will admit this isnt the Central of the last couple of years. Still yet the yellowjackets have way to much fire-power.

Im gonna have to go with Central and I think it will be a close game until the end because IMO I do not think that Western Hills can keep up with Central the entire game. However, if they do happen too then look out KY Central could be on upset alert

western hills has a great qb and he is hard to stop.
but central is a team with speed. spencer kept the game close between them and central, hills defeated spencer by a good 2TDs or more i believe. so this game should go to the ones who come out pumped up and ready to play a good 48mins of football.

alot of people are seeing this as a huge upset if Hills pulls it off. This is a very good hills team with talent at the skill positions.idt it would be as big a upset as doss over anderson.....But still i will take Central in this game

How does Western Hills have a great Qb?
He has completed only 45% of his passes, and only 5 more touchdowns than Ints. Dylan Curry is not a great QB, he has faced a really watered down schedule and still didnt put up that good of numbers.
No disrespect to DC or Western Hills, but Curry is an example of Steve Kragthorpe tying to save his job, by offering a scholarship to any half way looking decent KY kid. A result of Louisville only signing one in-state kid the year before.
Central will win this game by 40+

Not a fact but didn't Western Hills only beat Spencer by 7. The Central score was 56-36 with 2 Central T.D.'s negated one ona turn over and 1 on a td called back for holding on a wide receiver. If I am not mistaken SC didn't score a point after about 7 minutes into the thrid quarter. Who ever thinks that Western Hills' QB is going to be the difference better take a long look at who has had the most success against Central. Teams like E-town, Shawnee, Henry County have never had success trying to chuck the ball around. Teams like Union, Russelville, Paducah Tillman have had much greater success lining up and negating their speed by running right at them.

I believe that spencer co laid the blueprint for exploiting the yellow jackets with running right at them and changing the snap count keeping them off balance if western hills can smash between the tackles and eat up clock on offense they can win but with that being said i do believe that central will find a way to win in this one

I know Western Hills pretty well. Curry and the RB #40, are good. This is going to be a great game.
